Purify jailed for theft

Well clearly he's not a guy with a huge record, but at the same time, stealing 12 grand (even if you plead to only stealing something like 7 grand) seems like it'd be worth more than 48 hours in jail and 48 hours community service. I'm not saying months in the pen, but at the very least, up the community service to something like 200 hours. But hey, that's just me.
I suspect it would be more of he hadn't paid the money back. Stealing 12 grand and spending it on hookers and blow is a different crime than stealing 12 grand and giving it back.
