Here's the blurb from ESPN Rumors: Four schools in play for QB Corp? 8:02 AM ET USC Trojans Top Email ESPN.com's Greg Biggins reported yesterday that USC has released former starting QB Aaron Corp (though Corp hurt his leg and never actually started a game) from his scholarship to allow him to transfer, and that Kansas, Virginia, Minnesota and Richmond have received a copy of the release and are interested in acquiring his services. Corp's father, Chris, told Michael Lev of the Orange County Register, "There have been no decisions made. None," but acknowledged that he and Aaron have discussed the possibility of a transfer. Chris Corp also added that Aaron is enrolled in classes at USC that begin on Monday. (Maybe he wants to go the Matt Cassel route?) It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the writing on the wall. Starter Matt Barkley has three more years of eligibility. By the end of the season, Corp had fallen to third-string behind Mitch Mustain, who has another year remaining if he stays in school. And four-star recruit Jesse Scroggins, No. 56 on the ESPNU 150, will arrive on campus this weekend. Whether SoCal native Corp would want to transfer so far from home is another question, but certainly he'd walk into good situations at Kansas, Virginia and Minnesota, all of which are unsettled at QB for one reason or another.
