The first takeaway is, yeah, that’s a lot of ESPN+. The Big 12’s deal with ESPN is one of the main reasons why Colorado switched conferences and we’re going to see a lot of it. The games are easily accessible and easily streamed, but the platform does cost quite a bit of money
It’s also notable that the Buffs will only have three games on national televison. Two of those will be at the Maui Invitational, in which they will play Michigan State and then one of UConn or Memphis. The third is a road game at Kansas, where the Buffs will be heavy underdogs. If the Buffs are better than expected, they could still be flexed into national television slots, but we will cross that bridge when we get there.
As for game times, home games against Colorado State, BYU, Arizona State and Kansas are going to be fun late night tips. All of those schools have some degree of bad blood with CU and the students should be rowdy. Other games like West Virginia, UCF and Baylor should be more family friendly with the early tip offs, while Senior Day’s 2PM tip will be ideal.
