The versatile athlete makes it official

When coach Nick Williams left late in the recruiting process, there were worries that many of his recruits may jump with him. Well, not a single one did and many of them look to make an immediate impact with the Buffs next year. One of the most high-profile recruits that had a relationship with Nick Williams that stuck with CU is Brandon Davis-Swain.

Davis-Swain is a jumbo athlete. He hails from West Bloomfield, a suburb of Detroit, and had interest from every local program (Michigan, Michigan State, the directionals) before signing with Colorado. At 6’4 and 260 pounds, he plays both tight end and defensive end in high school and may continue to do the same for Coach Prime in college.

His tape shows a HUGE defensive end with a surprising amount of agility off the edge. Davis-Swain may eventually move inside due to his natural frame, but for now he is a huge 4-3 defensive end who can move.
