    Interesting. Didn't Scotty lead the team in receptions his RS-Freshman year?

    I read it to mean if in Scotty M's freshman year CU had had the the numbers and talent at the position that the Buffs have now, Scotty M (as a freshman) would not have been such a key component of the offense. That he was, in other words, was a reflection of a lack of talent and depth at that position at that time, not a knock on Scotty.
