MacIntyre did try to reach out. He and assistants toured the state to meet every CO HS coach at their schoolGreat job preemptively silencing the moaning from local media about Colorado kids being ignored.
Funny how a hastily thrown together recruiting weekend with strategic goals focused on appeasing the hometown heroes is still better than anything Karl and Macintyre were pulling off after years of prep

Thank youJust providing an update on a reported visitor in Boulder this weekend.
I bet that felt good.In years past, we liked to talk about the P5 offers of the guys we signed.
But it's not fair on the mods to put that much signing day work on them. They'll end up with arthritis trying to type that much.
We're now at the level where we can tell their story with "other schools visited" and "schools previously committed to". That's really who we competed with anyway, at the end of the day.
Like today with Edwards. Not much more needs to be said than, "Suck it, Notre Dame!!!"
Someone got the "Here come the assholes" memo. Well done, Jeremy.Bloom getting into the act. That's the spirit!
Weather doesn't matter. Not like they're not filling classes with blue chips at tOSU, Michigan, PSU and ND. CO weather's much better than what they've got. Plus, there's a pitch to be made of being to show NFL scouts you'll perform in different conditions.Today’s weather was an easy sell. Next weekend’s not so much.
And it’s a dry cold.Weather doesn't matter. Not like they're not filling classes with blue chips at tOSU, Michigan, PSU and ND. CO weather's much better than what they've got. Plus, there's a pitch to be made of being to show NFL scouts you'll perform in different conditions.

It is a different cold.And it’s a dry cold.
Living In NE Ohio now I can attest to this. 32 degree day here is way colder than a 32 degree day in Colorado. It is a different cold.
If a kid has visited schools in the midwest, northeast, even the mid-south on a cold snap they will discover that even when the temperature number is low our cold is more comfortable and that they can deal with it.
San FranciscoI haven't seen you around here lately. Where have you been?
Committed OL Hank Zilinskas is the only visitor on the offensive line side.Linemen there this weekend?
If they could flip one or both of those kids, that would be a nice get.Committed OL Hank Zilinskas is the only visitor on the offensive line side.
There are two D linemen - Blake Purchase and Chase Brackney, both committed elsewhere at this point.
I feel the same way living out here in Los Angeles: a cold day where ever you are is way colder than a cold day here.Living In NE Ohio now I can attest to this. 32 degree day here is way colder than a 32 degree day in Colorado.

FYI - Brackney didn’t make it up. Iowa told him no (Ferentz is notorious for pulling offers if commits visit elsewhere). Same thing with Kansas and LB, Logan Brantley from Creek. If they could flip one or both of those kids, that would be a nice get.
