Rick George, Good Idea. Thread.

Abos has survived only because they sell by the slice. Best way to get a quick snack late at night. It's been late night stoner pizza since before I was in high school. And, I hope we can cash in on the PJ special, even if I "forget" to do it come Tuesday.

Are Tra Lings and Smelly Deli still there?

Yes and yes. Illegal Pete's is supposedly moving into the old Abo's location. They're going to increase the bar size and change their liquor license over from retail to bar hopefully. That would allow them to keep the bar open much later than 10:30 or whenever they usually close it

I lived above Jalinos in Boulder. That started a trend of living over pizza places after I graduated. Two years above a pizza joint in Ashland, OR down the street from the Rogue Brewery. Then one year above a place on Queen Anne hill in Seattle. Sadly, I got married and had to grow up and live in houses. Now I have landscapers, pool men, housekeepers, pain in the ass. I wish I lived above a pizza joint... :sad2:
