Robert Griffin off to a hot start

News Junkie
Robert Griffin III has been at his best this year when he's broken loose as a runner. He did it early against Texas A&M, and the Baylor quarterback has his team up 17-7 in the second quarter.

Griffin beat the Aggies defense for a 71-yard touchdown run -- his longest of the season -- on the first play of Baylor's second drive.

In Baylor's three losses this season, Griffin has run for 21, 18 and 15 yards.

He's got 88 yards on his first six carries, and a road win*against Colorado is the only time Griffin has exceeded his early total this year. Griffin's completed 8-of-9 passes to start for 46 yards.

That doesn't bode well for the Aggies, who have to keep him from getting loose any more tonight to stay in this one. Even Ryan Tannehill's nice start (9-11, 92 yards) hasn't been enough early.
