One of the items on this week's "What to Watch" was to keep an eye on the showdown between two of the most productive running backs in the league, Kansas State's Daniel Thomas and Colorado's Rodney Stewart.

So far, it's been a big indicator of what's on the scoreboard, as Colorado leads 30-14.

Stewart has rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries and has thrown a touchdown pass. Across the field, Kansas State's* Thomas has just 47 yards on nine carries.

Stewart's strong performance has helped the passing game as well. Cody Hawkins has a pair of touchdown passes to fellow senior Scotty McKnight -- two players trying to keep Colorado's bowl hopes alive in their last game at Folsom Field.

By the way, former coach Dan Hawkins did accompany his son Cody on the field for the pregame Senior Day festivities.
