In all the hype about Scotty taking over the CU receptions record, he is also within shot of the Pac 10 record. The current holder is Arizona's Mike Thomas with 259.

I think Scotty is near the 175 mark now. He'd need another 85-90 or so catches. A tough feat no doubt, but if he has a few big games, averaging 9/game is not impossible. Would be great for the program. Throw the man the ball.

Scotty will never have never played for a PAC 10 team, how can he possibly be a record holder?

Hah! A major brain fart there. I guess I'm guilty of looking to the future.

Ok scrap that, the Big XII record is 303, held by Taurean Henderson (wtf?) of Texas Tech.
