That will be my 17th wedding anniversary.
Congrats! Just found out some friends of mine are getting divorced after 13. Bummer.
Well congrats on that
AD site lists TBA. so, i'd guess Cal is off...but, there may be recent developments...?
My impression is both schools are trying to find good alternative cupcakes for that date, as they don't want a 10th conference game basically. Don't think anything official has been set.
Wow its already been 10 years since Eddie Mac broke his leg on MNF.
My friend in the AD is saying it will be Cal or Portland State, they should know very soon.
That sounds like a toss up. Aren't they basically the same program?????
is Jerry Glanville still coaching at Portland State?
You CAN fool some of the people all of the time, can't you?!
Really, really hope it is not Cal.
I was at that game.
I remember watching that game that night thinking that it was such a big deal. The next day put that into perspective.
Hope it's Portland state, but Cal will be alright as well. Cal sucks royal ass on the road.
It actually was a big deal. Eddie was on the news a short time afterwards saying that people were coming up and telling him he saved their lives because the delay cause them to go to bed later and call in late the next day.
Cal is 9-17 on the road the last 5 years.
Last year they went 1-4 on the road getting outscored 158-61.
Cal's lone win was a close 20-13 win in Pullman against the Pac-12's worst team.
CU is usually decent to good at home even during our bad recent times. Cal loses their QB that tore us up an the majority of their D-line that cut through our line like a hot knife through butter.
Not saying it will be easy or a win, but it is def winnable.
Wow, I didn't know that story. Unbelievable. What do you say to that?
Nice. I'm actually getting married on 9-10-11.
How does your wife-to-be feel about integrating the tailgate and game into your wedding day? Logistics are gonna be tough. :wink2:
September 10th is my son't birthday. He turns 3 that day. So no matter who we play, you can chalk this one up as a Buff win.
who gets married during football season?
A friend got married during the CU/OSU game mid 90's. He figured since it was a road game nobody would care. Most of the wedding party kept leaving the reception to watch the game on tv in the hotel bar.
I'm hoping we play a D-II team so I won't care about missing it.
Congrats... but you've apparently overlooked our recent performances against such folk.
If you care to go back and look, 9/10/94 was, indeed a Saturday. It was a bye week. You gotta plan for these things, dude.
I hope it is Cal. Would make a great home ticket package this year.
I hope its montana state so Embo can show hawk how its done
Like Hawk would be paying attention.:rofl2:
