Some Buff runners (and alums) at Payton Jordan Invite (Hosted by Stanford)

About 9 current Buffs, along with quite a few Buff alum, are racing in this major meet being held today, I believe being held at Stanford.
(For the current Buffs, assume this is an opportunity to get some quality racing experience in leading up to the Pac 12's being held in a couple weeks, as well as possibly earn a qualifying time for NCAA regionals.)

For the current Buffs who've ran so far,
Junior transfer Nick Harris won his 800M heat (Section #5) in 1:49.38 .
Frosh John Dressel came in 4th in his 1500M heat (Section #6) in 3:47.81 .
(Frosh Dani Jones was scheduled to run in Section 5 of the women's 800M, but doesn't show up in the results. So assume she either scratched, or moved to another heat and/ or race.)

Still to go-
Ben Saarel (running unattached) is running in section 4 of the 1500M (5:32 MT scheduled start)
Maddie Alm - 5:38 PM MT; Women's 1500 Meters; Section #3
Erin Clark - 5:56 PM MT; Women's Steeplechase Section #2
Connor Winter 6:26 PM MT; Men's Steeplechase Section #2
Ammar Moussa- 8:09 PM MT; Men's 5000 Meters; Section #3

Ah- looks like Dani Jones was just moved to another heat, and has a good race.

Per the CU record book (http://www.cubuffs.com/pdf9/2669867.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=600), that time by Ms. Jones makes her the 3rd fastest Buff all-time in the Women's 800M, just bypassing (by ~1/2 second) her teammate Elissa Mann, who also is a freshman. The future is looking pretty good.
