Sponsorship question

We all made fun of Michigan State, but it raises a question:

How far would you be willing to go with sponsorships if it provided more money for the athletics department?

Put logos on the football field and basketball court?
Rename the Events Center (again)?
Rename Folsom?
Add a sponsor to the team nickname like MSU did?
Put logos on helmets/jerseys? (Would need NCAA/conference approval.)

You see more of those types of sponsorships at the FCS level especially with the North Dakota & Idaho schools. Boise State has the name of their stadium on the football field too. I would hate to see CU go down that route with sponsorships on the football field. I believe the Champions Center has naming rights available and CU could try to see what a sponsorship deal looks like on the practice field. I think the basketball floor at the Keg should get sponsorship on the court before anything gets on the football field at Folsom Field.

And USC probably opened the deal for that stuff to appear on Pac-12 fields.
