StatSheet now projects Colorado as an NCAA Tournament bubble team with a possible seven seed. The Buffaloes are unranked in the AP Poll and sit at #31 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 13-6 overall record and a 3-4 record in the Pac 12.
Over the last four games, Colorado picked up wins against Stanford and Washington State but also suffered losses to RPI #79 Washington and RPI #41 UCLA.
Colorado is underwhelming against top competition, with a 5-6 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-4 record against the RPI Top 50 and an 0-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Buffaloes have two quality wins including RPI #15 Colorado State and RPI #36 Baylor with no bad losses at all.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Charlotte (16-3, 4-1 A-10, StatRank #46), Villanova (12-7, 3-3 Big East, StatRank #58), Rutgers (12-6, 3-4 Big East, StatRank #56), and Wisconsin (13-6, 4-2 Big Ten, StatRank #59).
The first four teams out are Arizona State (15-4, 4-2 Pac 12, StatRank #65), Kentucky (12-6, 3-2 SEC, StatRank #67), Maryland (15-4, 3-3 ACC, StatRank #66), and Southern Miss (16-4, 5-0 C-USA, StatRank #44).
The next four out are Boise State (14-4, 2-2 Mountain West, StatRank #45), Brigham Young (15-6, 5-2 West Coast, StatRank #40), Iowa (13-6, 2-4 Big Ten, StatRank #70), and Texas A&M (12-6, 2-3 SEC, StatRank #71).
