StatSheet Projects Colorado as NCAA Tournament Seven Seed: 02/22/2013

StatSheet is projecting Colorado as a seven seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Buffaloes are unranked in the AP Poll and sit at #34 in the StatSheet StatRank with an 18-8 overall record and an 8-6 record in the Pac 12.
During the last four games, Colorado picked up a quality win against AP #12 Arizona and wins against Utah and Oregon State but also struggled with a loss against RPI #70 Arizona State.
Colorado is stable against strong competition, with an 8-7 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 3-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 3-2 record against AP ranked teams. The Buffaloes have three quality wins including AP #12 Arizona, AP #23 Oregon, and AP #22 Colorado State They have a single bad loss against RPI #169 Utah.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Baylor (16-10, 7-6 Big 12, StatRank #60), St. John's (16-10, 8-6 Big East, StatRank #56), Boise State (17-8, 5-6 Mountain West, StatRank #39), and Ole Miss (19-7, 8-5 SEC, StatRank #57).
The first four teams out are Alabama (18-8, 10-3 SEC, StatRank #57), Florida State (14-12, 6-7 ACC, StatRank #85), Stanford (16-11, 7-7 Pac 12, StatRank #69), and Tennessee (15-10, 7-6 SEC, StatRank #74).
The next four out are Arizona State (20-7, 9-5 Pac 12, StatRank #70), Maryland (18-8, 6-7 ACC, StatRank #69), Saint Mary's (23-5, 12-2 West Coast, StatRank #47), and Temple (18-8, 7-5 A-10, StatRank #45).
