Sun Times: Kentucky Pays Anthony Davis $200K

When reached Thursday, Davis Sr. declined to respond further, saying: ''Thanks for ruining my son. Thank you very much.''

If the story is false, then Mr. Davis is right and the paper did his son wrong.

If, however, there is some truth to the original reports and Mr. Davis had been asking universities to pony up $125k or more to get his son's signature (and Kentucky won the bidding at $200k), then he is the one who ruined his son.

I've got a bad feeling that the original report is true and now Mr. Davis is trying to cash in through a lawsuit against the Sun Times.
