Why not eclipse miller? We are all born from the same media deal. CU can afford to pay with the best of them.
If Tad wants to get paid like Miller, he needs to earn it. Right now he has a single NCAA tournament win on his resume. If he starts getting us consistently to sweet 16's and elite 8's he is going to see a $2 million + paycheck. It will be interesting to see how much money the b-ball program makes this year.
Thought this was a new thread and we gave him an extension after beating UA. That would be like giving a walk on kicker a scholly after banking a 20 yard field goal off the upright to win a game. Oh wait, we've done that? Hmm.
totally understand and agree that tad deserves a raise if he wants one. Knee jerk reactions rarely work well (Hawkins extension is another one I think we all regret).
