Good, another failed NFL retread.......
Interesting stuff if true.
Wasn't Kevin Sumlin our WR coach for about a week?
How much does it cost to get on THAT inside e-mail distribution list?
it was $1200, but i doubt fran is sending out emails about who replaces him
sooners stole him for their te coach
This is the same Mike Sherman who ran a Brett Favre led Superbowl caliber Packers into the ground following Homegren's departure.
This looks like like Callahan part 2: The College Station edition.
Exactly.. What a bunch of jackoffs aggy is..
Mike Sherman? MIKE SHERMAN? LOL..
Had to settle for Sherman. Nice!
William Tecumseh. Kicked ass against Georgia. Favors a wide-open spread attack and is not adverse to running up the score.
Exactly. Apparently Aggieland was not watching the Cally experiment in Lincoln. Viva WCO! (as long as it stays away from Boulder). Sherman was about .500 with Favre pulling the trigger, I just don't see this one.
I guess before we laugh too hard (and I love to laugh at aggy), remember that Pete Carroll was a laughingstock NFL failure, too. But, my gut tells me this won't be a Carroll-type experience and more of a Callahan experience.
True, but it was only a matter of time before USC returned to prominence. aggy is the most underachieving program in the country. I don't see Sherman changing that. The guys I talk to down here are extremely disappointed. They really thought they were going to get Tuberville or Spurrier (tried to tell them it wasn't going to happen).
I think your gut feeling is correct-I don't think Stoops or Brown are exactly scared right now.
Wow that hire should get the Aggie faithful excited !
For every Pete Carroll, I can give you Dave Wannstedt, Bill Callahan..
Mike Sherman is not respected as some great offensive mind in the NFL..
Pete Carroll was as a defensive mind, just not respected as head coaching material in the NFL..
Awful hire by aggy..
Yeah, like that guy over at USC.
