Tennis Battles, Falls To Top-Ranked Bruins

BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s tennis team battled, but fell to No. 1 UCLA, 4-0, Sunday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Facility.

The Buffaloes drop to 0-4 in Pac-12 play and 7-8 overall, while the Bruins improve to 14-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

"UCLA is definitely deserving of the number one ranking,” head coach Nicole Kenneally said. “They are playing really top tennis right now. We came out and fought hard.
