MANHATTAN, Kan. – University of Colorado sophomore Alex Aiello secured the lone singles point Saturday afternoon as the Buffaloes women’s tennis dropped a 4-1 decision to No. 53 Kansas State at the Body First Tennis and Fitness Center.

It was the second matchup in as many days against a former Big 12 Conference opponent.

Despite their second straight loss, the Buffaloes (3-3) still lead the all-time series against the Wildcats, 24-12. K-State improves to 5-1 and now have won five straight matches.

“Another tough loss today,” CU head coach Nicole Kenneally said. “We played a very good team today, but we are continuing to learn and grow as a team. We look forward to get to Boulder for our next three matches beginning on Friday.”
