SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Colorado freshman Nuria Ormeño Ruiz recorded the lone singles point and her 20th singles victory of the season in the Buffaloes, 4-1 loss at No. 36 Utah, Saturday afternoon at the Coach Mike’s Tennis Academy.

Colorado closes the regular season with an 8-14 overall record, and for the second time in three Pac-12 seasons, go winless (0-10) in conference play. The Buffaloes have lost four straight, and 10 of their last 11 matches.

The Utes broke a three-match losing streak, improve to 12-9 overall and are now 3-7 in conference play. Utah has won all three meetings against CU in Pac-12 play and improves 15-10 all-time versus CU, including winners of four straight over its conference rival.
