The Big 10 is really, really bad at naming stuff

We can play for the "snow bunny"

I would hazard a guess that the divisions will ultimately be renamed; they are simply too over-the-top ridiculous to last.

Fusker/Iowa: Monsanto Pork Bellies Bowl Buff/Yoot: Vail Back Bowl. Or 420 Kind Bud Bowl

Here is an Iowa fan's perspective on their visit to Boulder recently:

Not kind or objective. Flame on this ****ing turd

What a wonderfully whiny midwesterner, fullfilling his world-view through selective perception.

(paraphrased) Meh. There were some mountains, I guess. They were okay. The food was pretty good and the people were weird. They don't take football seriously like my people though. No way. I saw things that made me uncomfortable, that was bad."

Okay buddy. I've been to Iowa City too. It's a great town. But I'm not sure that I witnessed the football fanaticism that you claim runs so rapant. lincoln I get--it's a football crazed little town; but I suspect you were wishfully comparing Iowa City's level of fan support to lincoln, and using Boulder as a patsy.

I'm glad this writer found a venue in which he could express those preconceived notions which comfortably suit his world view. Iowa Hawkeye football reins supreme!

I also don't understand his comment about Pearl St. He then supported it with a picture of a fusker banner in lincoln.... well, usually every fall the city puts up CU banners on all the light posts... same exact thing. But they change them seasonally, and my guess is that they still have the summer ones up... shocking, I know:

Are there several people in that picture wearing "black and yellow" clothing? Must be Iowa Hawkeye fans inBoulder.

Did this guy even go to the hill, which tends to be more University oriented? Or did he just visit the most franchisey, touristy area he could find?

Are the students back in school yet?

No, no one wearing black and yellow... cause Pearl St. is where all the ****ing tourists hang out... at least until the bars star hopping around 10, then it is drunk students

I'm sure he visited Estes. That's where all the flatlanders go...
