Numbers for all schools can be found here

Crazy that we're paying more for scholarships despite having the minimum number of varsity sports. Our AD gets raped by the university.

We're substantially less than Ohio St. vis-a-vis the scholarship payout. But to delve deeper into that point you brought up, I wonder what the breakdown of in state/out of state students is for all those schools mentioned. Probably makes the perspective a little clearer.

UConn and Rutgers are losing money with their athletics. Ouch. Oregon is barely making a profit; sounds fishy.

I am not sure those numbers are correct.

Colorado has an athletic department budget of much more than $12 million.

EDIT -- My mistake -- I think these numbers are only for FOOTBALL

Are you sure this is all sports or just football? Numbers look like just football, to me.

Just football. CU numbers show a profit, which when you add in the non-revenue sports, wipes that out.
