Long lines are an issue but the bigger issue is that most students just don't care. I had a morning class the day of the USC game and not one person came in late. Huge lecture hall, not one person late I was watching the doors for it. It amazes me that students are willing to show up on time for a morning psychology class but then don't bother to show up to Folsom until the 2nd quarter for a nationally televised football game against USC and then many of them left before the game was even out of hand. I don't know what the student section used to be like but in the couple of years I’ve been here as a student games seem to be more of a "social gathering" rather then people showing up because they actually care about the game. I bet if you conducted a poll during a game half of the students, even the sober ones, wouldn't even be able to tell you what the score at that time was. And too the students and all the 35 year olds on here complaining that they miss the start of the game because of long lines here is a JRK solution for you: Show up to the games earlier. That way you can avoid long lines and if there are lines then having to wait won't be such an issue because the game isn't about to start. Unless it's your first game you should know what the deal is. I don't wait until it's 5 minutes before game time to enter the stadium and surprise surprise I haven't missed a kickoff this year.
