Quote from Todd Graham's post-game presser last night, courtesy of our ASU site... he was asked if the Buffs did anything that surprised him during the game: "I tell you what, I was kind of surprised when they hit the two slants down there, that they scored on, we hit him right in the mouth, I mean we drilled the quarterback. I was impressed with their execution. I knew that Spruce, No. 22, we knew he was a good receiver. We thought going into the game their receiving corps were better than it had been and they had a good plan and did some good things. But yeah I was impressed they executed there. We did what we wanted to do and they beat man coverage and executed flawlessly. We had guys all over them so I was impressed. I was impressed with how they put pressure on the quarterback. I thought they played hard, I really did. Going into the game we knew we had a better football team than they did and they played a lot better than I thought they were capapble of to be real honest with you. Dang good football coach. We're not related or anything, dang good football coach. I want to congratulate Coach Mac. I am just telling you, you have a tremendous football coach here. I thought they showed tremendous heart and determination. We were rolling along there, thought we were fixing to make it 21-0, those guy were fighting and scratching. You can tell they are coached with a lot of character and heart."
