Track and Field at Texas Relays and Stanford Invitational

It’s the biggest meets to date in the young outdoor track season this week, as many of the top Buffs are competing at either the Texas Relays (Today through Saturday) or the Stanford Invitational (Friday and Saturday). Looks like the multi-event and sprint athletes are off to Texas, while the distance runners are going to Stanford.
(Note- The Buff's schedule also lists a meet at the Air Force this Saturday, but I couldn't find it listed in the AFA's schedule on their website.)

TELEVISION COVERAGE
For the fourth year in a row, Longhorn Network will provide extensive coverage. This year, 14 hours of coverage will be available during the four days of the Relays.

Ghizzone, Torres Start Strong At Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas –
Facing some of the toughest competition in the country, University of Colorado sophomore Andrew Ghizzone and senior Abrianna Torres began their outdoor seasons in the combined events on Wednesday at the 89th running of the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

Ghizzone finished the first day of the decathlon in 16th place with 3,417 points, while Torres finished day one of the heptathlon in 24th place at 3,004.

The Texas Relays continue on Thursday, with the final day of the heptathlon and decathlon. CU will also have men and women competing in the 400-meter hurdles.
