Heard some radio heads discussing Shedeur and Travis as Heisman candidates and they pointed out that no player has ever won the Heisman who’s team has more than 3 losses.
So for either to have a shot, CU would, more than likely, have to win at least 9 games. That is a very tall order.

Watching a highlight package of the game, CP told his players on the field "believe what you see, not what you think. See it and react ".
That was very telling to me. That tells me this team is exceptionally taught and prepared!!!

Wait...is Travis so ****ing awesome, that he doesn't even have to attend pre-game speeches in person? Did he, like, get picked up by a drone and then parachute onto the field directly after listening to the speech remotely?
Travis is one of my favorite players in the world, but I'm too old and out-of-touch to understand that video.
He has a weekly show or something with Bleacher Report. I think this was just him rewatching the pregame speech and “reacting” to it for that show
I actually reached that conclusion and then decided that made no ****ing sense. And if it did make sense to someone, then I must be really out of touch.
I do think that young man is special, though and not just as an athlete. He seems like a great young man.

During the offseason, I made a joke that it would hurt Shedeur's 2023 Heisman chances because he'd be splitting votes with Travis. While it's too early for legitimate Heisman talk this year, I'm blown away that it's no longer a joke after week 1.
