UH vs. CU Guess the Score Contest *$25 gift certificate to Amazon.com*

Went over and checked out their board. Seems like a bunch of pretty good guys. I think there's 12 of them. They seem 35 years old or so. 'Tini, don't go all dickhead on them. Absinthe and BuffSoldier have been representing well over there. Nice job fellas.

thought that was absinthe's kid....

I'm going with what I first guessed a month ago: Buffs 27-25. Not going to be easy in Aloha but I still maintain that not only are we catching them at the right time given all the replacements on their offense, but CU is simply the better team given the huge edge in the trenches.

I don't know about the score - but I agree with your analysis. We should have the edge on both lines, and our offensive skill players aren't too shabby either, so that's why I think we pull the W and get the monkey off our back. We aren't going to lose on the road forever.

It doesn't do any good to post your thoughts here. Go to theirs and let them know who we are.

It's been pretty good fun so far. Hopefully it stays that way but those dudes need some **** talk. More than most of you here are capable of that.

Well their other home games are UC Davis (Hawk U), New Mexico State, Utah State, Fresno State and Tulane. I'll be interested to see how they do on the road at Washington the week after us. Their only real competition for the WAC is probably Fresno. Should be a 9 or 10 win season for them

Heard today here in the land of Aloha that the game is sold out....

Not as of just now... checked and there are still several available on the etickethawaii.com website. Damn though, you sure made my heart skip a beat, I haven't bought mine yet!!!

Dang it I was trying to get it to play from the 35 second mark.

Hahaha... Good question! I'm flying standby to get out there and though it's highly unlikely that I will NOT make it, I'd hate to buy a ticket and not be able to do anything with it. I'm going through Portland and have a long layover there so I figure if I can make it that far I'll go ahead and buy a ticket.

...although, now that I think about it, which would suck more, buying a ticket and not being able to use it or not buying a ticket, making it to HI and not being able to see the game? Heh. Dumb question. Although I'm told it shouldn't be too hard to scalp a ticket...

Looks like the line is still locked in between 6.5-7 points and the o/u is out at about 57 points. Is that a normal o/u for you or is it high?

It's a little on the lower side for us.

Anytime Hawaii plays a bcs team they're not expected to put up nearly as many points, hence the low number....

In our season opener last year against USC the score was USC 49 Hawaii 36, that was a pretty big number. :)
