You really think it doesn't look like CU? White helmet instead of gold is the only difference between this and a uniform we've worn a ton. Last week's looked way less like CU typically looks.

True. For both comments. Especially the white helmets make them not look like CU. And the gray/silver makes them look "less" like CU, but it had a more "alternate" uniform feel to me than the white helmets.
And I'll say it again - I think the white helmets needed a totally different design to make it an "alternate" uniform but still look like "CU"

I had non-CU friends - granted, of the 35 year old variety - who commented that the BSB out-did UO last week, and if we can't win on the goddamn field, maybe the uni battle will help us. Besides, it looked pretty cool, and if we can't keep up with our tradition of actually winning conference games, why should we wear traditional unis.

As far as this week, I agree the white helmets look cheap, but the rest of the look is good.

Agreed. A different logo would go a long way in changing my view of the whites.
