USC probation....from the early 80s

Wow, they might actually do something to them? I will still need to see it to believe it.
 
I'll believe it when I see it. The way Ohio St. skated on the Clarett deal and OU with Bomar, I don't believe USC will be hit with anything of significance.
 
A two-year ban on TV and bowl appearances? whoa. That's a big deal. I never would have expected the NCAA to have the balls to do something like that. I applaud them if this is true.
 
OK, I got fooled, the by line says 1/15/2010, but the publish date is 1982.

You would have thought "Athletic Director, Dick Perry" would have been a give away. Instead we have that Turd, Mike Garrett, Mr. do nothing.
 
One clue might be that USC asked the NCAA to let them "self impose" punishment and the NCAA said "No way." That does not bode well for usc, IMO.
