I've always felt that the NCAA would have to and would do something harsh to USC. This was just too blatant. Plus, I think the NCAA looked like they were losing all respect in these matters. They let OU off with, virtually, a slap on the wrist and I'd bet they got some pretty harsh internal criticism for it.

Supposedly any Junior or Senior on USC's roster can be openly recruited and transfer without having to sit out a year.

...any USC football with two years of eligibility or less could transfer without sitting out a year because of the two-year bowl ban.
And USC/Kiffen cannot direct or limit the player's options of transfer schools.


What year is transferred QB Aaron Corp? He must be kicking himself.
 
Probably a good move on the NCAA - I think they know the writing is on the wall for them when all of this conference expansion goes down and want to make it look like they still have some control over the big sports. On another note I think Dan Wetzel's new book "Death to the BCS" should be a pretty interesting read after all this. Good timing for him.
