That it came so late in the season likely muted the celebration, but Utah has its first Pac-12 victory -- ever -- after manhandling Oregon State on both lines of scrimmage.

Running back John White piled up a career high 205 yards with a touchdown, even though the Beavers had a pretty good idea the passing-challenged Utes would be handing the ball to him over and over again.

The Beavers rushed for only 32 yards.

It's clear this will be the Utes' formula for success: Run, run, run, then surprise with a Jon Hays pass.

Hays only threw for 62 yards, but two throws went for TDs.

Oh, and protect the football. Utah has been crushed by turnovers in all four defeats this year. It's won the battle in its four victories. The Beavers turned the ball over four times Saturday, the Utes just once.

The Utes have a chance to win a few more conference games. Their final four games are at Arizona, UCLA, at Washington State and Colorado.
