The Buffs volleyball team (3-1) is back in action for their 2nd match of the Omni Classic today at 12pm when they host Georgia Southern (0-4). The Buffs are coming off of a sweep of Portland State, while GSU was swept by Pittsburgh. I won't be able to do any play-by-play or update the scores today, but the match will be shown online for free again.

The match has begun. 7-7 early. (I asked in the Portland State thread whether Katelyn Cuff might be working on an injury. She is starting today, so my question has been answered in a good way.)

Early in set 2- 6-4 Buffs. Nicole Edelman sitting this set out to get Gabby Simpson some serving work. Neira Ortiz Ruiz taking over Gabby Simpson's hitter position.

Oh oh- Gwen Herring came in, and then in one of her 1st plays dived for a ball and then stayed down holding her left knee. She had to be helped off the court, but looked to be able to put some wait on her leg. Hopefully she's OK.

CU up 11-7. Timeout GS.

16-10 Buffs in set 2. Timeout GS. Stephanie Shadley replaced Gwen Herring as the defensive specialist.

TV Announcer did say Gwen Herring was walking around on her own power after the set 2 break, but does have ice on her left knee, and will obviously not play the rest of this match.

At the start of Set 3- 7-4 Buffs. Timeout GS. For the Buffs, looks like same lineup as set 2.
