Wbb: Cu @ osu

So OSU takes us to OT, loses to #6 Cal by 2 and have 8 conference losses by 5 pts or less and Freshman are playing a big part in it. Looks like they may be on the move up here in the near future.

Saw bits and pieces online. CU's defense was sporadic and they were often stagnate on offense. Lot's of open looks for OSU from behind the line, fortunately they didn't make a super high % of them. But for the most part CU made plays when they needed to. Buffs need to get serious with as they won't see any poor teams from here on out.

After watching OSU give CU a game in Boulder my thought is they will be in the post season next season (WNIT or NCAA). Jamie Weisner (fr) is their Chucky.

Chucky was not going to let this one get away. In the second half, she took it upon her shoulders to lead the team. Arielle was a rebounding machine, but couldn't buy a bucket. She had FTs and then a bucket or two and ended up with a double double.

This was one of those heart attack games.

We could face OSU again on Friday if they can beat UW. They will be out for revenge if that is how the tournament plays out.

That's definitely never a preferable situation. You see teams time and time again struggle in those situations. 3 years ago, the men beat Texas Tech to end the regular season, only to turn around and play them the next game in KC in the 8/9 game. We lost, and sacrificed an NIT bid in the process.

The first round of PAC-12 tourney has UW playing the Ducks and we play the winner of that game on Friday. OSU plays USC.

Sorry about getting the wrong Oregon team. I don't mind if we could face them. Read on the internet today that this game could be Coach Westhead's last game if Oregon doesn't win.
