Venables: Gundy read 'racially charged' word

Oklahoma assistant coach Cale Gundy's sudden resignation Sunday came after Gundy read "a racially charged word" aloud multiple times, coach Brent Venables said in a statement Monday.

Not sure if this belongs here or in the politics thread, but the word Gundy used multiple times during that film session has ZERO place in American society. Period. I still cringe when I hear it in rap music. Good on Brent Venables for showing him the door.

I can’t believe that anyone in a leadership position in 2022 allows themselves to even think a derogatory word of any kind, much less a negatively charged racists term.

Not only should he be fired for being a racist, he should be fired for being the dumbest MF on the planet.
