We've got a nice matchup of #9 Duke vs #18 Michigan State at 5pm on ESPN. Nice appetizer before the 7pm #25 CU vs Milwaukee game (PACN).

Also highlighting a great Tuesday night of CBB is #4 Marquette vs #23 Illinois (6pm, FS1), #17 Kentucky vs #1 Kansas (7:30, ESPN), and Iowa vs #8 Creighton (8pm, FS1).

Quick note that on Monday night Penn took down #21 Villanova, which sets up our Buffs to move up in the polls if we take care of business this week.

Kyle Neptune doesn't seem to have quite figured it out.

I remember being shocked when he got handed the keys post Jay Wright after one 16-16 season at Fordham. Yes he was a longtime assistant in the program but just seemed premature for such a big time job.

This. And in that conference these days there is ZERO room for error.

Kim English and Providence up 25 on Wisconsin who only lost to #9 Tenn by 10 on Friday. Milwaukee only lost to Providence by 10 on Friday fwiw

Kentucky-Kansas is a fantastic basketball game.

79-75 Fightin' Caliparis with under 4 to go.

Stanford also lost to Santa Clara-would be shocked if Haase makes it through the year.
Based on early returns, the mid and low of the Pac-12 seems like it's competitive with upper mid majors but not as good. Hopefully the bottom 7 or 8 all do enough in the non-conference that they don't drag down Dance seeding for the 4-6 teams that will make the tournament.

Georgetown lost to Rutgers and fell to 1-2. Ed Cooley is one of my favorite CBB coaches and he's in his first year of rebuilding the Hoyas. What he did here is so unusual and special - as a leader and mentor at a major university, he ended his presser by telling the young reporters in the room that they need to ask him tougher questions after a loss, that it's his job to answer and they need to give themselves the opportunity to do their job well. Mad respect for him.
