The in-state product redshirted last season; a lot of it was due to the presence of Andre Roberson, who left early for the NBA, and some was due to the fact that Gordon needed an extra year of development.

Gordon might not start, but Buffs coach Tad Boyle said he'll almost certainly wind up playing starter's minutes. He's athletic and should be able to fill the rebounding void (to a certain extent) left by Roberson. He can also block shots, is a superior passer to Roberson and is far more skilled.

I think I agree with Jeff Goodman on this one. Dre was a freak as a defender and rebounder, but he didn't get drafted in the first round for the standard basketball skills he has (passing, dribbling & shooting).
