What Color To Wear at the Nebraska Game

Normally I could give two ****s about what people wear.

However, during the 2019 game, I noticed that our white tends to make the nebraska red stand out more in the stands, giving the impression that there were more nebraska fans in the stands than there actually were (I'm not saying there weren't a lot...there were a lot, and since they tend to be a lot bigger that also creates it's own dynamic based on sheer volume of nebraska fans).

It will likely be a hot day in the direct sun, so black feels impractical, but I feel it is our best option to mute that nasty red color.

I thought I heard that they were planning a Gold Rush theme, potentially with gold pom-poms. I think that has the best chance to stand out from whatever red is there.

all I noticed was that we beat their a$$.
 
Part of why I wanted so badly for this to be a night game (other than the temperature and the BAC of the student section) was that our crowd would be more likely to wear black and the red would be less visible. I'll probably wear gold. Sigh.

I tried to acknowledge that in the OP. I’m sure even you can appreciate the distinction between having opinions on what 20 year old kids wear, and not allowing the husker infestation appear worse than it really is.

That's how I like to frame it. Let's all match! Sorry that I attempted to cloak my desire to be matchy-matchy as some sort of practical matter in an attempt to support our team.
 
Normally I'm all about personal expression and live and let live, but this one is a no brainer.

The CUBuffs.com store only sells replica jerseys in the correct fan color for Folsom field.

Don't want or cant justify a jersey, get a black t-shirt and sweat for your team! (Also TCU is a road game so I reserve the right to sweat drench some other color there! ;) )
