Short term:
1. Crush BYU in Alamo Bowl--an era of football dominance commences...
2. Extend Prime/do whatever to keep him happy.
3. Crush the transfer portal again.
4. CBB gets into NIT (I think NCAA is a moonshot) or just be competitive in B12--both men and women.
Long term:
1. CU positions itself to be in top tier of college football, however it aligns/shakes out.
2. Westside stadium expansion/maintain facilities. I agree with
@Buffnik in expanding Folsom somewhere near 60K. I'm not keen on a huge Westside sports facility expansion via getting rid of family housing and parking, since access, parking and space are still issues. The space is just very limited. The family housing/area needs to be redeveloped, but maybe those are dorms etc...
3. Jump-starting CU's expansion into East Campus--the school owns it, Boulder is a college town, give the City the finger and so get going just doing it. I believe they can do the flood mitigation, in addition to building into the large expanse the school owns. This is where I see the future of a newer CU sport's complex--better access, more space for parking via shuttle if Folsom expands. It would be much cheaper and could be larger than a small Westside project. I believe this would be great for the campus overall.
4. Of all the expansion sports, D1 ice hockey is the one that I would like to see. ASU has had a pretty good experience adding the sport (they win more than 50% at home, enjoy good attendance and the sport has some buzz down there) and I think CU could do it. The chance to play DU, CC and Air Force would be great.
