that makes me feel better because at least now they are seeing balls thrown their way.
I had the feeling that a few of the dropped passes were related to the 'Holy ****-- the play isn't dead??' factor. Almost like they were surprised to see the ball coming that way after 10-12 seconds into the play (which normally goes 6-7 seconds. They have to have a sixth sense timer in their head that says 'The play has to be over' after 8 or 9 seconds I would think.
I'm excited to see what happens with some time for Hansen to develop some chemistry with those WRs. Especially on 'broken plays'. Once those WRs figure out what to do on those plays, it should really be spectacular.
The FSN commentators alluded to the same thing between Reesing and his WR - they knew what to do when Todd extended the play.
I'm still conditioned to yell at the TV with Cody at QB. Every time TH would start to scramble, I'd yell "THROW IT AWAY" - then he'd breakout and do something spectacular.
I'm sure it's because CU doesn't play their best players....
They can start with catching the ball when it gets to them.:smile2:
how great was it to see simas on that slant route, even tho he dropped it? i think everyone watching and on the field was shocked to see a CU qb hit a wr in stride and on something other than an out pattern! simas will catch that 9 out of 10 or better going forward i bet.
kid qb can play a little bit. yay!
