A nice write up on a former Buff.

Wilcots is voice of reason

bilde

Sports broadcaster and former Bengals safety Solomon Wilcots broadcasts his Sirius Radio show from his Anderson Township home.

Pardon your fellow Bengal alum, Chad Ochocinco.

Solomon Wilcots, who grew up on the mean streets of Compton, Calif., south of Los Angeles, has no tolerance for your talent-squandering schtick.
If Wilcots had your talent, he probably would have been a six-time Pro Bowler with twice as long a career as he actually had - and would have made some real jingle in the process.

There was a time when Wilcots liked you a lot, Chad Ochocinco. And he made it a point to say so.

Well, not anymore.

Now, when "Solly" calls you out, No. 85, consider that he's doing you a favor.

Solomon Wilcots knows of what he speaks.

Prolly one of the lesser known former Buffs out there. I do like his work.

'Wilcots couldn't believe his good fortune. Nothing tests a sports journalist's abilities like high-quality sideline work. It combines digging with succinct and live reporting; there are no do-overs.'

Interesting quote from the article that actually pertains to the girls reporting on the sidelines thread we had a few days ago.
