GA took the opening possession 85 yards for a TD, 24-14 UGA, things did not look good, especially after starting short of the 20 after a penalty on the KR return. On 2nd and 2 from the 27, the biggest play of the game happened, with Hansen taking a few steps on an option left and pitching to Speedy for 65 yards, tackled inside the 10. Lots of UGA guys out of position. On 3rd and G from the 3, Hansen avoids a sack or two, rolls right, pump fakes and dives in. One of his better plays as a Buff. On the conversion, Cody lined up on the right with three other guys, while 6 guys lined up on the far left. Cody took the snap, rolled right, and passed to Deehan just inside the goal line, 24-22 UGA.
Colorado forces a 3 and out via a sack, and Hansen PA bombs it to WillJeff on 1st down, 46 yards to the UGA21. On 3rd and 10, Hansen lobbed it to Richardson, who completely caught the ball at the 1, but despite a review it was ruled incomplete (total robbery). Goodman in for the FG attempt, he makes it from 38 but sells a roughing penalty, Hawk takes the 3 off the board, and on 1st and 10 at the 11 Hansen pitches right to Speedy who races to the pylon for the TD.
Teams trade 3 and outs, then UGA drives into CU red zone (start of 4thQ), but is held to a FG, after Murray overthrows an open Green on 2nd.
