Women's basketball: CU Buffs excited about hosting NCAA Tourney

In some ways, Colorado women's basketball players are enjoying familiar territory this week. The 19th-ranked Buffaloes are, of course, playing the first round of the NCAA Tournament on their home floor. Not everything about the weekend is normal, however. On Friday, three other teams - South Carolina, Kansas and South Dakota State - arrived in Boulder, and the NCAA has taken over the building.
