No preview article on cubuffs.com, but just noticed the women's golf team is competing at the Bay Area Intercollegiate today and tomorrow. Per http://www.golfstatresults.com/public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=team&tid=6030 , looks like they're doing well, in 2nd (by a stroke) at -2 on the 1st day with a couple holes to go, and only 4 strokes behind leader and nationally ranked #1 Washington.

Edit- also a very good day individually for Buff's sophomore Esther Lee, as she's tied for 1st at -4 (and her round is completed).

So it looks like this tournament has two rounds today and one tomorrow. With the 2nd round underway, Buffs not faring as well as they did the 1st round, although they're holding onto 3rd place by 2 strokes over UC Davis. CU is +4 in the 2nd round ~1/2 way through the round and +6 overall , which works out to 11 strokes behind 2nd place Oregon, and 13 behind Washington.

Individually, Esther Lee still doing VERY well- she's in the lead by one stroke over 3 other golfers at this point (through 12 holes of round 2).

After 1st 2 rounds- team still in 3rd, while Ms. Lee has extended her lead in the individual leaderboard to 4 strokes. Hope they both finish up strong in the final round tomorrow morning. (Team leaderboard below lists all teams, while individual standings are only the top 10.)

There is a scoring adjustment in golfstatresults this morning, and UC Davis is now showed as tied at +7 with the Buffs for 3rd as the final round starts up.

The live results show everyone scheduled to tee off at 8:30 PT, so the last round has just started.

A top 3 finish in this tournament would be a good showing for them.

Looks like the Buffs fell off some in the final round, but still ended up a respectable 4th in the tournament. Although I'm sure the team itself hoped for more, I'd say overall it was a solid "par" of a tournament for the Buffs, as they only lost to teams ranked above them.

Individually, congrats to Esther Lee. She didn't have as good a final round as she did in her 2 rounds yesterday, but still shows as as a co-winner of the tournament's individual scoring, obviously a great result for the sophomore transfer. (I'm not sure if they do playoffs or not in collegiate golf for a tournament like this? Assume we'll find out when cubuffs.com releases its article.)
