Women's Golf at the Branch Law Firm/ Dick McGuire Invitational

The women's golf team is also back in action starting today through Saturday when they compete in the Branch Law Firm/ Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico hosted by the University of New Mexico. Here is a recap from last year's event:

The defending champion, Jennifer Coleman of Colorado,is back to guard the title she ran away with by eight shots in 2012. Coleman tied thetournament record for 18 holes by firing a final-round 68. It was her first collegiatevictory. Coleman played the final 28 holes in 9-under par despite a bogey on the finalhole. UNM’s Sofia Hoglund won in 2011 with a 3-under 216. She made only one birdieon her final round (71-68-77), but held on for a one-shot win.
