Women's Golf at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

The #32 Buffs women's golf team is back in action today and Wednesday when they compete in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington hosted by #1 UW. This is a pretty loaded field and the Buffs will have their work cut out for them. Preview from the UW website:

Washington and 12 other teams will play 36 holes, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8, with a final round of 18 holes on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The Dawgs are the top-ranked team in the field according to the Golfweek rankings. Washington is the nation's second-ranked team, while other top-50 teams include No. 11 Stanford, No. 20 California, No. 31 Oregon, No. 36 Colorado and No. 49 UC Davis.

Washington will be defending the tournament title for the first time this season. Last season, the Dawgs won the Edean Ihlanfeldt title for the first time, ending a 31-year drought at their own tournament.

After the first two rounds, Buffs are in 9th

First Tee Time is 7:45am off both 1 and 10. The pairings are the same as Rounds 1 and 2. Players that did not finish the ninth hole will tee off the 9th beginning at 7:45 every eight minutes.
