WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - University of Colorado junior Elysse Richardson has been named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic Women's Volleyball First Team, announced on Wednesday morning by Commissioner Larry Scott. Richardson has recorded a 3.95 grade-point average while majoring in psychology. She has played in all 30 contests this season, starting nine of those matches. Richardson is averaging 2.15 digs per set and has recorded 215 digs this season in 100 sets. She has also served up 16 aces and has handed out 48 assists this season. Jessica Aschenbrenner, Kelsey English and Ana Pantovic were all named to the honorable mention team. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor. The Buffs (14-16, 4-14 Pac-12) will are on the road for a pair of matches this week to finish the regular season. They will face No. 2 Stanford tonight (Wednesday) at 9 p.m. in Stanford, Calif., and on Friday, Nov. 23, they will square off against Utah at 7 p.m. in Salt Lake City, Utah.
