wvu: most overrated team ever?

Yes, they are 'one dimensional', but then again, they have been that way for a few years now and hammered the dog crap out of OU last year being 'one dimensional'.

The reson they have lost these games is because the new HC tried to make them two dimensional, and made them worse. CU can be happy that he did not just stick with what they were great at since day one, but was only trying to get back to that this week, and they were still a bit rusty.

Before making final judgements on teams, let's see how the season falls out. We could say how great CU is a 3-0, but that can change quick.

I do have to be happy that we have that much better chance for a bowl game now with wins in the first three games.

What are you talking about. They barely threw the ball against us. They used their strength, and they were succesfull running with White and Devine. We beat that same team that beat OU last year with them using their strength.

That's my point. They USED to be a run only team, and spent spring and fall ball, and the first two games trying to be a passing team. Knowing that was not working at all, they tried to switch back to a run team but had spent so much time trying to develop a passing game that their run game was not in sync at all.

On the other hand, they were missing their top RB from last year and their top notch FB, so even trying to go back to the run was hard since they were missing a few big cogs in that game.

I just am glad RR was not the coach, or CU would have lost this game. They never would of changed from their strength and he would of had them clicking better than they were.

Plus ECU lost to North Carolina State today, so now WVU looks worse than ever. But we have all been talking about reasons why teams should not be ranked for 5 weeks or so in the season. So we can see who these teams are, instead of trying to figure out if they are the same teams from the year before. True overrated teams are ones who have high rankings at the end of the year and then get hammered in big bowl games.
