NEW ORLEANS – The University of Colorado men’s cross country team is ranked third in the nation according to the first regular-season USTFCCCA Top-30 Coaches’ Poll. The CU women dropped one spot to 15[SUP]th[/SUP] in the poll.

The CU men are the top-rated Pac-12 Conference team in the poll and picked up 336 points to stay at third. Oklahoma State held on to the top spot with 359 points and 11 first-place votes. Northern Arizona recorded 348 points and the final first-place vote. BYU remained fourth in the poll with 313 points. The next highest ranked Pac-12 team, next to CU, is No. 12 Oregon.
