One of the first things Deion did when he was hired at Jackson State was call Mike Leach (There is a story about that online) and ask him for advice on staff hires. People who falsely claim that Deion is all about Deion do not really understand the man. Yes, he is confident but do you really want a coach that isn't 100% sure of the direction he wants? Only time will tell how much success he has at Colorado but one thing is sure, he will bring in talent. Good luck to you guys.

I loved him at every place he went to. The OU fake "gameplan sheet" against Texas was epic.

Also, one of my employees has the last name Batch. Mike Leach coached the nephew of my employee at Texas Tech. Yes, the nephew is also the nephew of the former Pittsburgh QB.

Appreciate you stopping by and thanks for the sentiments/opinion. We're all ready for a change, it's been way to long since we've been mediocre, let alone good.

Really sorry to hear about the Pirate. I can't imagine what that's like for a school, the players, and the fan base. Devestating news.
